Great Pics. Sorry I missed it. I had planned on coming initially, but the pandemonium got the better of me. I was thinking of memories to share when I saw you all, but I guess I will have to do it here. I moved into Redford late summer of 9th grade, quite a shock. Couldn't get the classes I wanted and ended up in typing. Got to class early but the last row had 2 redheads and a cute brunette (Vicky, Judy and Shannon). Very distracting especially after the first ski trip(thank you Mr Phillippi) of the season (An amazing number of injuries as I recall) and Vicki ended up in a cast. So they giggled into class late and out early. Memories of RU  Mr Liddell(sp) the math teacher who would get lost in thought and lean back against the chalk board and then turn around with math on his back. There was a day in our senior year when he was gone unexpectedly and the office sent this sub who was barely older than us. We ignored her and the noise in the room got louder until someone threw a chalk eraser to the front of the room. When it hit the wall, she burst into tears and ran from the room. Mr Barton showed up a few minutes later, shook his and we all sat quietly. Mickey Gilhool was just back from the peace corps. A few of us would sing quietly and then one day he encouraged us: MIC KEY LOUSE. We all got detention. Unfortunately for him his classroom was right next to the main entrance which was full of busses and kids. When he left the room, we opened the windows and sang our hearts out. Listening to the Tigers in the world series on the intercom. Doing the lights for the senior play and then the synchronized swimmers. Intermural basketball got me a picture in the yearbook. Ski club trip to Sugarloaf when it was so cold the second day we hung out in the lodge. Lots more memories. Sorry I missed you all. One last thing, I want to thank the 12 people who told me they voted for me for senior class VP and the 6 who actually did.

I am so glad I found this site. Thanks so much. The music is a great touch--and brings back memories--marching as a majorette to the RU school song. Like Paul Hayden's band playing at our dances--and so sad to his passing and so many others--some who I went to elementary school with as well as junior high and high school (Larry Reed). The IN MEMORY page really touched me. I have not been to the last reunions because I did not know about them. I really enjoyed the ones I attended, and would like to attend more. Love the song...Don't You Ever Listen To The Radio..talking about heavy music...that you have on. Makes me remember some really fun times back in the 70's! Nancy

This is the only site worth viewing.  So much better than the incomplete classmates.com.  You have done well giving us a great way to connect and I thank you for that.
