I knew Juan throughout my time at Pearson and Redford Union.  I believe that Juan and I had a mutual respect for each other although we didn't always agree on things.The loss of human life is a tragedy, regardless of the circumstances.  His family had to endure his loss and live off their memories of him.

I moved from Pearson and never got a chance to attend Redford Union, our family moved to Canada. I went to school with Juan in 7 & 8th grade. I recently connected to a man I knew back then that told me of Juan's death, I am very sorry to hear about his suicide. I just wanted to say that remember Juan back then as the most dreamy guy and one that was very friendly and smiling to everyone, he has always/ and still is in my memory to this day.....I was not a poplar girl but he always made me feel special as he did others. God have mercy.  I do hope some family will read this and no that Juan is thought of in a special memory. If they would care to write: micheles.curran@sympatico.ca
