Gene was a true cowboy. He rode bulls with the best of them. He was a man of pride and honor.

My memory of Gene was in Elementary school at Westland..... he was always leaving and returning to Michigan from Texas.... half of the year in each state.... he would come back with colorful cowboy boots.... he was a fun guy.... sorry to hear about his death...
