Wright, Thelma Fay 64, of Lapeer, (formerly of Clarkston) died on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Thelma was born February 2, 1952 in Detroit to parents Paul and Georgine (Holman) Holesapple. She graduated from Redford Union High School, class of 1970. She married Lowell Wright on June 4, 1993 in Clarkston. Thelma worked for Comerica Bank home office in Auburn Hills for many years. At the time of her retirement, Thelma had attained the position of VP of the Controller’s Department. After “retirement”, she went on to work at Total Insurance Services in Clarkston for several years. Thelma was the definition of a “people person”. Above all, she was a devoted family person, taking great pride in her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Cassandra (Mike) Hill of Columbiaville; grandchildren: Alexa Hill, Justin Hill and Jeremy Kalisz; siblings: Tracey (Bud) Goodspeed of Manistee, Jeff (Laurie) Holesapple of Davisburg and Phyllis (Ralph) Kaminsky of Milton, KY. Thelma is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Charles Wright in 2011; sisters: Margaret Holesapple and Beverly Holesapple; mother, Georgine Stockdale; father Paul Holesapple. Visitation will be 2 to 4/5 to 8 p.m.Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Thelma’s funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Muir Brothers. Rev. Alto Goodspeed II will officiate. Thelma will be interred with Lowell at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Thelma loved her family and friends. While we’ll all miss her here with us, she’s looking over us now from above, much like she did while here on earth. She’s reunited with her “sweetie pie” – and for that we will be comforted.
